Rebecca Minkoff is creating a community in the European retail market

Rebecca Minkoff hit the streets of Venice on Wednesday, November 29th, to visit her boutique which was inaugurated this past September. The designer chooses Venice, next to Ponto del Lovo as the location for her first store in Europe to add a bit more of magic.

Rebecca visits the boutique for the first time, as the designer likes to be aware of every detail of the label. At the Venice boutique Venetian press like Nuova Venezia, Venezia today ,Il Gazzettino to mention some, was present for an special private event to meet the American Designer in person and talk about her interest for the millennials, which is key for the brand since their target points everything on the  digital generation to satisfy clients with the “see now, buy now”. Therefore the Minkoff share to the audience, the use of social media in order to generate such a big success; approaching costumers by Twitter for new updates and Instagram as the main channel to generate direct reports. This strategy definitely helped the brand to grow its target audience by reaching nearly 900 thousand followers on Twitter and 800,000 followers in Instagram.

Surely the American label will continue growing has Rebecca Minkoff has big plans to follow the expansion of the brand in Europe, which will proceed by the opening stores in Milan and Paris, bringing 17 boutiques of the designer in the world.
