New York Fashion Week - You Concept LTD

It’s that time of the year again: fashion world is getting ready to come back in the Big Apple for New York Fashion Week.

Lots of celebrities are expected in town to participate at the fashion events, Kim Kardashian, LaLa Anthony, Millie Bobby Brown, Margot Robbie, Zosia Mamet, Lupita Nyong’o, Cardi B, Anna Wintour, Scott Eastwood, and more are among the famous faces often seen sitting front row during fashion shows.

There will be more than 200 shows and events all around the city.

Rihanna said yes to New York Fashion Week with her Savage x Fenty line of lingerie, an “immersive experience” that will close in the night of Sept. 12 in Brooklyn, because the fashion horde loves Brooklyn and Rihanna too.The family-owned Longchamp celebrates  70 years in business with its first runway show in New York (Sept. 8).
It was a big American-themed year for the house with the opening of a Fifth Avenue flagship store, a collaboration with Shayne Oliver and Kendall Jenner as its new face.

Kate Spade and her husband Andy created their first handbag line in 1993.
The brand will be in its first runway show and the first time at fashion week since the loss of its namesake and the show will be staged at the New York Public Library and will be the introduction of new designer Nicola Glass. .

Kate and Laura Mulleavy with their brand Rodarte announced on Instagram in July they’d be returning to New York with an amazing show. (Sept. 9)

A very special return is for Proenza Schouler. The design duo Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez showed in Paris for two seasons but they said they’d be back at New York Fashion Week, where it all began.
“NY will always be home,” the two said in the post and we are glad to see you again.

Coinciding with fashion week is a three-day convention (Sept. 6-8) celebrating the plus-size community.
The retail chain Loft is hosting a shop-able fashion show and it will include five attendees of The Curvy Con ( among its walkers for the runway show.

Victoria Beckham, Alexander Wang and Philipp Plein are just some of the absents of the year.
